In your dreams. Pets will demise, and in t4 they will even forget to recall them sometimes. If it wasnt for the huge size of the lvl40 Lion even WLs would forget to cast them. Sometimes feels like a waste of time and AP, specially in Engi/Magus.

The problem with buffing the pets is that you have to buff ALL pets, stats/scaling wise. This in turn will make the pets too valuable of a commodity that they dare not lose. Also, if wl pets get too great of a buff from the stats, then the devs will have to put a long cooldown on stance switching.

Class mechanic is fundamental to the class. Who would have thought?

The WL +50% increased critdamage tactic is only working, while the pet is alive. So for most WL players, it was already very punishing to loose the pet, as he was loosing a big part of his burst capabilities.
It was very easy to "disarm" most WL players for a while by simply killing the squishi pet.

You know i main SH and Chosen so i have a reason to speak my mind on this matter since it has big effect on range damage dealers who dont have any defence for the most part. Wls pet is way stronger then sh's and as Aza said already the pet has way to much hp and it can be seen and has a impact balance vice when you do orvr since its abit harder to kill and can be used as a pusher. The most comical indeed is that you yourself also play chosen with a 2 hander and no strength stacking smh...

Yes but the range benefit is nothing if the wl sends the pet after you and sprinting away 500 miles/kiting/hiding, The problem is the pet alone since its already hard to kill due to the amount of hp and the path finding for both mobs and pets in the game. When chasing enemy players Pets can now when close enough Teleport on the player and start dealing damage this goes for all pets even melee for The SH and mobs in general. Also pets cant be snared or slowed so where is the ranged advantage there? This was added in the latest spell Update and was a way to execute the way for range dps classes with abilities that could be used while running to kite killing mobs becuase if you ran around in circels the mobs couldn't touch you.

I dont think that is the concern ppl have, wl pets do need luvin but not to the extent where you could send in your pet and your enemy would be at like 50% health before the lion died, its gona be tricky and no doubt need much testing to see how any changes would work tho i have faith that all will come good.
Also there were many decent white lions on live server that made all the buff wl opinions dubious tho not having played one myself i cant really comment on how or why the white lions i remember obliterating players made it work so well.

Are SH actually complaining about WL pets? A ranged class WITH pets (both melee and range who can also shoot through walls) are complaining about a melee class with a melee pet? cmon...
