That would work yeah.
But what if one of the team refuses to come out of spawn though (for whatever reason)? Would be nice that after certain time they would be ported out to the battlefield or something I guess.
What's the obvious answer?
You're being a d!ck during a sanctioned tournament. Probably get your team disqualified. Server rules still apply here, which should cover most of the issues presented so far. If you're not playing as intended, or rather playing in a way that intentionally disrupts others, the GM team takes action on it. When you have a team join the tournament, it's a reasonable expectation that you are going to make your best effort to compete and win your matches. That pretty much goes for any competition without having to say it.
I'm not saying they need to jump in the blender and get wrecked the entire time, but at least until the Dom timer kicks in they should make a good effort. That would be reasonable against a team that just wipes the floor with their opponent. But really, how many awful 6v6 matches are there going to be? I thought this was the pro-competitive side of RoR.

Ah sorry! I miss-understood that your proposition would be for all the 6v6 scenarios in general even
outside the tournament duration. I get it now though, and yeah I agree it would work

Then they would lose.
You take a screen-shot, and that team takes a Loss for refusing to Fight. If we want to get arbitrary with every single potential issue, the list of rules will be quite long. Obviously, if someone DCs the match will be restarted. Which is why only the final result will matter, if it takes 8 CW fights to get to best of 3 without issues, then so what?
How about we stop looking for holes, pointing out every theoretical issue and instead put forth the fixes for any perceived problem? It really isn't that hard... If people want to go out of their way to ruin the experience for other groups, we'll just ban them from the Tournie... Rule 1, Don't Be A Douche.
This idea has a **** load of potential. I mean, if we can get a few groups involved and up and running, we have the potential for a Draft Tournament(Post up 1 order 1 destro toon, and we take a list of 100 players, with 8 cpt's and draft up teams!), 12man tournies, dup/trio tournies(potential for shenanigan's increases), etc etc. This could be a lot of fun for a lot of people. Getting the first one rolling will be the hardest part.

The Domination rules would kick in. Once you hit 200-0 or some ratio I'm not sure of, your points start going up on their own to end the match quickly. If you get stomped, it's only three matches and then you're done and out. Forcing people to get farmed until the Domination effect kicks in would be a demoralizing defeat, but it's a competition. Every team but one is going to lose in the end.
I am really liking what you say so far in this thread.
I am not very good with giving idea's etc so i will let Durreal take care of that as he is very good in being constructive.

The problem i see with any sort of 6v6 event is the need to be in a perfect state to compete, that is the reason my guild never signed up for the bloodbath event, we couldnt get everyone online at the same time, some ppl couldnt join ts and dont understand or speak english to well and dont play the classes needed to have the right group setup.
We would fight against fotm premades who play together all the time and lose, this then meant they were less interested in doing any 6v6 fights, sure you could say play more with the right classes and improve the group synergy but some ppl either dont have the time, cant be bothered to treat the game that seriously or dont want to log on to lose over and over to learn from there mistakes.
To gain some more interest you need staff members organising a duel night so players can 1v1 and 6v6, where players who dont run premade groups all the time can form groups and fight like minded players without fighting well drilled premades and being destroyed.

This was addressed by leaving the brackets open for a week so players could organize with their opponent a best time to meet up. All we would need to validate a win is a screenshot of the scoreboard with the correct characters. Doesn't matter when the win happens.
This is also the same picking at this concept that has easily answered problems. If people aren't willing to organize a team, they wouldn't be involved. Pretty simple. Something else that I considered is a draft system. Once brackets are assigned, Team Captains could either accept players onto their teams, or draft from a pool of players that have shown interest, but don't have a team of their own. I like to call this a draft system, because it's less of a culture shock than to infer they would be using pugs to fill slots, but eyyy..
