Return of Reckoning

So we all know BG's middle tree needs attention

I believe this suggestion has been made multiple times, as recently as on the BG thread by Bozzax

BG as a class lacks utlity in comparison to other Destro tanks, i feel making the AoE snare easier to access would help the BG in that aspect without being game breaking

I feel the class would still need some more attention after this change but i feel this would be a good step in the right direction.

So my primary suggestion is to have FoF and WoS trade places in the mastery trees

Furthermore you asked if i have any other change ideas, in terms of mastery tree changes trade the places of the parry and ap reduction tactics

Or a second option is to re arrange all 3 tactics like Bozzax orignialy suggested:
How this helps BG; BG is an inherently selfish tank it suffers from providing very little group utility and CC outside of KD and KB

Furthermore the required mastery point investment for damage mitigation and CC for BG is much higher for BG in relation to other tanks as pointed out by Bozzax the other day:

If nothing else this change would more or less standardize the required mastery point cost for access for CC/Avoidance between tanks

With ease of access to AoE snare BG would become a more viable tank, while Big Brawlin is technically considered more desirable this change would make running the ablity more appelaing for not only SnB BG's but also 2H bg's with easier access to parry tacic on top of terrifying foe

And additionally if we were to go by the second option, the 3 point parry tactic would help 2H bg's become more durable if they chose to spec it, making it an alternative tactic option to soul killer

Can you elaborate your proposal a bit more?

Explain why it would make sense, how it would help the class, how would the spec look like, explain if you would do any additional changes to BG besides this.

The edited version could in my eyes be considered for discussion. But you have to be careful that a drop of the parry tactic down to 7 or even 3 points will most likely take some nerf in its effectivity as well. I'll wait for Penril to answer, before adding a [pending] label.


PS: since tesq already suggested switching Parry and AP tactics, i'd say we stick to Discussing the Slow change here alone.

Since there are already some changes in Loathing, I'm gonna move this to Declined.
