Changing how medals are earnt and spent.

I honestly think the whole idea of forcing people to grind a specific type of game mode just to get a certain type of currency can leave people hating this game. The same idea with RNG drop chances. I'd rather have 1 currency which can be used to buy ANY item. Rather than having one for each item type. So I can do ORVR and earn 1 currency per kill, and get some currency in SC's when I want to play that. And If I want to run a Dungeon I get a bunch of currency when the boss dies. Obviously this would take careful balancing to ensure not one mode is better than anything else. But I prefer the idea of giving the players the choice in what to invest their currency into so that they can set long term goals without being screwed over by RNG or being forced to play a game mode within an MMO they might not enjoy.
I can lay out the idea right here pretty easily for complete sets:
(conversion rate of 5:1 upgrading/downgrading currency)
T1: 1000 peasant coins
T2: 1000 soldier coins
T3: 1000 scout coins
T4: 1000 general coins
T5(RR45): 1000 conq coins
T6(RR60): 1000 imperator coins
etc...
Set the average coin earning between all game modes at 100/h. This means to unlock an entire set you'd need to do around 10 hours of grinding. That seems fair IMO. Ofc by that point you'll probably rank up quickly and use your conversion to complete your lower tier set whilst in T2. So what you could do is adjust the cost of each tier to match that 10 hour grind requirement. That would have to be figured out by the average time and coins earnt by players within each tier.
Now this is just an idea and I'd like to see peoples opinion on this. I'm not advocating to make things easier. Grind is part of an MMO (I honestly wish that wasn't the case but it is), however I do think it's important to allow players to choose what goals they wish to pursue without being forced down a specific path, as I've long seen threads about people complaining that they have to grind SC's just to get the gear they want for ORVR. I suppose the good question is why not allow people to earn the gear they want doing the thing they want? As long as it is all done as the same rate.
Or if the devs want they can just add a conversion currency between Emblems and Medals and leave the PVE RNG in.
