Re: [Ironbreaker] Blood of Grimnir - are you using it? How are you finding it?

Yes i hope so too, but 6v6 is/was the only place where this ability may shine bright. Im not sure as a) i didnt test it myself b) havent seen proper data but seems to not be the case as well. I have some info here, BoG wasn't a big consideration for anybody, except my full dawi party (that got abso...

Re: Scenario Matchmaking Rework Megathread

I don't think balance is what will make people play or be retained - no one really cares how perfectly balanced a game is, only that it's fun. Imbalance can impact fun, but balance doesn't lead to fun. Imbalance killed off a huge part of WAR's early population on the Mythic servers, and new players...

Re: Scenario Matchmaking Rework Megathread

I don't have comments, just questions. 1) What composition will you be forcing onto scenarios, and why? 2) Why are you compensating for bad players who choose not to organise themselves? 3) What work are you putting into fixing the issues for people who want to group up but cannot get invited? 4) H...

Re: [Ironbreaker] Blood of Grimnir - are you using it? How are you finding it?

I don't know if changing the numbers on this skill would make it a more desirable mastery choice - it seems to be too conditional to be of good value, and then when you layer on the costs of the skill; grudge, mastery, and party cost, it drops too much to be worth it. Even if GBF was at mastery 9, i...

Re: Scenario Matchmaking Rework Megathread

“We are also hoping to improve the scenario grouping if for any reason a premade is put against a pick up group. Although we want to mainly not mix pugs and premades.” This is a really big worry. The game should promote players for making premades, not potentially punish them. If this system punish...

Clone low tier sets to new higher ilevel sets

I had a quick search but couldn't find anything suggesting this. Challenge: There are many sets in the game that are either skipped or underutilised during a player's journey. Many with sets unique or interesting set-piece bonuses are no longer used, but would be used if the stat negative wasn't so ...

Re: Scenario Matchmaking Rework Megathread

I hope it doesn't place too much emphasis on the 2/2/2, or the need to group to get pops.

There was a lot of chill being able to jump on and punch out a few discordants in an evening.

Sometimes you just want to play and not have to stuff around for 20-40 minutes with group comps and comms.

Re: For the love of god give WH a snare

Not having a snare on a melee class in a positioning rewarding game is extremely wild.

There is a good reason why almost every game in existence gives melee the tools to control engagement ranges - gap closers and snares are critical core to melee class design.

Re: Change to Witchbrew.

Is the corp debuff a replacemeent for its current damage? A 500 debuff a huge, even 15 mastery Chillwind is only like 359, and that's nearly a 20% damage buff.

Re: Let's discuss AoE CC

I don't think the example you took is good (especially in 24 vs 24 or Zerg vs Zerg - might be more real in 6 vs 6 or 12 vs 12). The greater the mass, the weaker the combo Clean + CD reducer is compared to the combo ID + CD reducer because, like you say, there is a lot of debuffs (including DoT), so...
