I think op has the right idea, crit just isn't that good without a 50% crit damage tactic. nice to have some here and there sure but building entirely around it like a WH is ill advised when you don't do as much crit damage as a wh and it's much easier to stack main stat and weaponskill

Might be unpopular opinion, but I never agreed with pull mechanic, order or destro. It is basically a guaranteed kill and it looks dumb, doesn't require skill and feels frustrating if you are on the receiving end. I would never have implemented such mechanic. My BAL dot with 5 combo points crits for 1500 or more on low armour targets. There's no way for middle tree to compete with it. A build that goes healing debuff with BAL is viable in group play, but you definitely wouldn't want to use fervor except to pad dispels.
