Re: Magus AOE still 20 ft
Something with a radius of 20ft can have a bigger area than something with a radius of 40ft, for example. Especially when considering true coverage in practice. Cones vs pbaoe vs gtaoe/targeted AoEs are apples to oranges, can't look at radius alone to find actual area, and even less so effective pr...

Re: Noob questions on BO
Absolutely no need to fill in initiative at all, it's a dead stat. Get reduced chance to get crit stat from any other source instead, initiative is optimized if you get 0 from gear at the moment. It's completely linear and scales increidbly poorly, just don't think about it in any terms other than m...

Re: Patch Notes 03/05/2024
Let's not forget the random nerf to Loudmouth, and the zero compensation given for the nerfs to the other proc tactics that were already beyond awful on BO. Loudmouth is somewhat minor, granted, because the tactic already ate copious amounts of manure over the years, but it just made no sense to ra...

Re: PTS Patch Notes 29/04/2024
You Wot was one of the strongest abilities in the game. vigilance kotbs lasted 10 seconds and also reduced your damage, Y wot, lasted 20 seconds with CD 30, gave much more bonuses and had no negative effects I am not sure if you played BO yourself, however i must correct you since You Wot had big d...

Re: PTS Patch Notes 29/04/2024
Problem with auto attack speed for BO is that you spend a lot of time channeling THC, I would instead make it auto attack damage rather than 50% auto attack speed. It would show a bit more use on that follow up hit right after THC. This, and 2h is the spec that is by far the most saturated out of t...

Re: Any updates on solo ranked
Nobody plays ranked because they enjoy it. They will only play it if BiS is locked behind it. So why would devs rework a game mode no one likes doing? I can’t conceive how they would make it not a toxic tryhard mode. Class balance is also at an all time low right now, making Order players even less...

Re: Bringing tanks in line: BG The Exception
ST Punt is a core tank ability like Guard and should be unified among all the classes. Not really. And the attempt at making it so is making the tanks far less diverse and the game overall less fun. Tanks should fill slightly different roles and offer different gameplay from eachother just like oth...

Re: Buff Slayer's support DPS spells
The problem isn't slayer. The problem is WL. WLs have ended up with an absolutely obscene amount of strikethrough as a combination of a ludicrous patch giving 2h weapons 10% parry strikethrough and the recent avoidance patch. Sounds small, but given the multitude of direct buffs to their AoE spec ov...
