I think a better idea that will go a long way it's to give some sort of reward to Pug Wb leaders. It doesn't have to be something fancy, it can be as simple as +15% renown gain or whatever on the condition that the wb is open and that you can't premade it and then open. Might add a new layer of complexity to the game. Now if someone is channeling or building, you can side step out of the cone and break their concentration. We have line of sight, distance and cone to consider. Thats fine for casting, they have rangue and their cone of fire is huge, it only affected...

Pets were OP, especially white lion. They would stick to you like glue and get free kills on low hp enemies, needed to be toned down. Something I found extremely annoying bout the cone of fire is melee channels breaking if the target gets out.
I think is totally fine that you need them to be in the cone to launch the ability, but the fact they can break it by simply walking a bit to the side is very annoying

Sure, the thing is you still need to do Bs to avoid throwing 3.5k on invader.
So you will end up with bloodlord set in inventory, is vanq better than bloodlord? for same classes it sure is...but is it worth 1600 crest when you will have the other set anyways?

Agreed, I dont have proof but i do feel the big hit in pop these days has been in good part to not being able to progress the PVE wards anymore

I dont know post-patch...but Slayers/Chopas are used as butcher/scavenger all the time cos they can mass aoe mobs so i dont see why you woudnt be able to pve with them. If you dont want to aoe they do have a heal channel ability that for mobs its gonna be harder to stop so you can sustain with that....
