Fresh BW Builds

I know there is Bombling's compendium guide but a little confused as i don't know which build is catered to RR40.

I'm mainly needing two builds; Pug WB RvR and another for SCs (or ST?)

RR40 crap gear.

Rotation wise what do you recommend for both?

Pug wb - build mechanic with flame breath and nova. Bomb from max range (because pug wb) with FBB, rain of fire (don't stack around other ones) and detonate. Use fiery blast when flashfire procs (if you use it at 2s you can insta cast again assuming a disrupt). If it's safe to run into melee (you have guard or des running) run in and flame breath + m2 drop.

ST - Ignite, Boiling Blood, Slow Boil (optional), Pyroclastic surge (use Fireball if on CD), Sear, Withering Heat for 1-2s then jump and nova and/or FBB (when you get it) to finish.

4 vanq 4 onslaught, then build towards sov + triumphant combo

Those builds are still good, used them on live, and here as well, depending of what I was doing. if going single target, skip the heal debuff, as normally a melee will apply it, you can go up to stop drop and roll, later on.

5 Sov 4 onslaught used to be really good for aoe , and vanq/Sent good for single target, taking the crit bonus pieces, a long with ring. Later on a mix of Sov, Trimput, with bloodlord staff, and LOTD cloak+ ring . unless it`s changed haven`t really played my BW since hitting 82 3 or 4 years ago.

I'm late to the the post but I'd figure I would throw two more other builds that I really enjoyed running back on live every once in awhile. Recently I started playing my BW again and still bounce in and out of these specs occasionally.

There really isn't that much of a difference than what has already been posted but the changes are enough to alter the way you use the BW.

The first BW spec here allows you to be more mobile while still pumping out damage at an insane rate. It gives you a 1 second cast corporal damage (best ran with the ignition tactic) nuke that rivals the elemental damage dealing ability "Sear".

For a fourth tactic you can experiment with the following:
- Crown of Fire
- Flames of Ruin
- Endless Knowledge

This second spec I used to have fun running back on live too. You could view this version at the sniper spec I guess. There's a few setups changes you could tweak or build off to really get some crazy results. My only gripe with this spec is that it can really limit your mobility making you feel like you've wasted a tactic spot.

For a fourth tactic you can experiment with the following:

- Endless Knowledge
- Flashfire (Free undefinable Fireball but I prefer the Corporeal damage dealing and faster cast time of Pyroclastic Surge)
- Crown of Fire

And then when you start getting better gear, and fortunate enough to find a tank who doesn't mind guarding you, and you're feeling reckless for some rvr action, I recommend trying out the "Close Quarter" tactic for your fourth option and watch the AOE BW builds come to realize that it was all a lie.

For ultimate thrills and laughs utilize it Focus Mind for 10 seconds of pure insanity. Maybe pay your chosen guild mate to follow you around for the resist debuff.. You should most defiantly be ready to record your results too

4 beastlord and 4 onslaught + belt is conq or vanquisher and 3 genesis scholar - gutslime or sc weapon is good (fresh 40 ) some guilds are making onslought runs .
as fresh bw u cnat have much crit so furtile strikes and wounds is good to have from rr. (u can be also glass canon and +15 tobe crit byt its not your goal to die ) try get caped int and 7k+ wounds
