That's also true... which means we shouldn't balance around 1v1 combat, and all of these situations mentioned in feedback aren't comparing realistic situations. X vs Y sort of comparisons.
In my opinion, balancing around group play is fine. The main problem is when group play means sticking all the players in the same spot of the map. Most of the time zone bos are being utterly ignored outside of reaching 2 stars keep or locking zone, meanwhile we have a lot of people afking on the main group until the tanks take down the doors or battle disasters like 2/3 hours of fighting at the bridge at caledor. Trying to raise bo importance during a siege would be a nice addition to the group play. mDPS would have something to do and 6-12 players group could feel useful at helping their realm also the classes focussed on solo or small scale would have fun fighting small skirmish instead of being melted in massive aoe battles where they cant do anything.

I noticed that you are very (I mean VERY) sensitive on almost every WL post here on the forum.
I wrote it many many times that I do not like nerfs (in any form) and WL is not exception. WL is top example of melee DPS with awesome burst so it makes sense to point on WL when it comes to dmg burst when comparing. You do not need to feel aggrieved...
Numbers don't lie. Average targets has 7000-8000 HP. Depending of the class. If you are playing a WL / mSH with a bonus damage of 270 running 25+ crit you are going to kill targets within 3-5 seconds. I am not boycotting, just try to stop people from posting misleading information without correct supporting documentation. I am just amazed by how many people who don't run dps test. Gotta have a baseline for some items.
Numbers don't lie - As I saw many posts from you I can not believe YOUR numbers and I cant take them as a correct supporting documentation. The only correct supporting documentation for me would be from a dev team. (Or video -containg all important things like stats, renowns etc.)

Good thing I have all of that and share it to who I want. But you are free to go roll and make both and find out for yourself. Or if you want to PM because you play the class and want info I would be more than happy to help you out.

Do your own test with numbers. Eye balling things is not the best way to do it.
Same bonus damage, matching RR points everything is the same doing clips of 20's damage pulls. WL / mSH damage is pretty close. On my mSH I have killed people in 2-3 seconds, same on WL. Biggest issue with SH is lack of a speed tactic for the pet. mSH seems to crit more often, but that can be because of order not running FS.

Can't believe you are still trolling around with your lol calculations. I have told you before as well if you want to be real share combat chat logs or even a video. I can basically and easily get on both characters and show the dps of WL doubling SH with that way. SO stop childish ways of selling false data because no one is buying them.
Yes, please make the damage match. Pick any two classes and make their damage match. Remember to include your DPS time stamp. Start recording at the same time. I have given the info to others who asked. I am not going to do the work for you. Also, if you just look two post above your post, I linked my excel doc where I compiled all the data. I did not say SH was better, I said it was on the same level as the WL.

Everybody is so familiar with your bullshit in this forums that as you can observe from the responds, no one is taking you serious. ...well except a dev who is obviously in love with the certain class you tirelessly try to keep above others in every single thread with your childish arguments such has "hey I have the numbers, here they are but don't ask the details of how I obtained those numbers...". Very convincing!

There seems to be a bit of myth built up around the WL, i'm not rr80 or anything but about the only thing I kill 1 v 1 is a Sorc and that is only if I can get the jump on them. I'm easy kill for MSH and Mara. Just look at ranked, there is only one WL in the whole leader board.

Wont be any tank, only beat a WE if they get pounced and don't then stealth or gets their knockdown parried, only beat bad DOK and bad RSH, for Shammy a WL is easy, might beat a Magus if they open up and avoid getting stunned, in many of these cases is will depend on who opens up. For the supposed solo kings they barely can win against any class :lol:

The WL got nerfed pretty hard. Torques Guardian change was OP for sure. Glad it got reverted to life status. But the multiple nerfs after that were to much in my opinion. For competitive 1v1 the WL is not the right class anymore. But it is good at ganking low level and class cannon builds.

Generally speaking the WL and other classes too lost there uniqueness and this is very sad.
A mSH for example has same "Burst" now but much better defense stats, more utilities, self heal, escape tools and can go to range as well and kite. A Dev approved me that they have same Burst.

Can we please show some real combat log timestamp data bf we pretend a msh can produce BURST like a WL.

Ideally on a bread and butter suport like dok/WP in sov with FS over 3-4 gcds unless we talk about SUSTAIN damage over lets say 20s.

its not a secret that a mSH do nearly the same dmg as a WL. Screenshots are in this post
so whats the point for the lion in this case? i dont understand why a range class with mele stance can be as good as a full mele class without any disadvantages.
a SH can go full dmg on 100ft and easily switch to mele and go full dmg on mele?

whats wrong with the the screenshots? in a fight 1v1 there can be so much happen to bring misleading result. With dps meter on a dummy target you have the same requirements. 20 seconds all dmg possible. Thats we talking about
