To give away undefendable to anything that suffered from disrupt is not a good direction I believe .

What do you make of Suggestion 2 then, given that it requires a tactic slot for one DoT and is on a hefty CD?

I, too am not a fan of the undefendable trait, morales and your occassional Magi train are frustrating enough to deal with on say a tank.

The second proposed solution seems perfectly fine, it'd bring the Magus repertoire in line with Sorc/BW and other 5-10s burst frames.

Solution 2 seems best I still wouldn't run it but it would improve it nonetheless.

i don't agree with issue.
15% more dmg from all sources. it's HUGE.
it was almost mandatory tactic.
that kind of bonus need drawback.
spending tactic slot is not enough.
having to strikethrough are reasonable price. which you can invest.

disrupt/dodge difference maybe problem
but only healers invest willpower heavily. everyone invest init little bit.

A long CD and using a tactic slot is not enough “drawback” for you? The disrupt rates are very high and not just a healer only problem.

Its a dot 20s long what about it dmg? More dmg in shorten time then ? or 2x10sec aplication in i cd ?

I understand the argument and it has merit consider the current state of defending attacks.

But both of the current solutions seem to be a potential buffs, just as much as they are a solution to the problem.

Solution 1 its obvious, much stronger than it ever was on live.

Solution 2 is closer to an answer, thougu if you get lucky you are going to be stronger since its going to be able to be applied to more people.

I dont know if its possible, but I think a good solution would be to reduce the CD IF it got defended. Maybe reset the CD totally or put it at 5 seconds.

That way you comensate for the defense, but dont potentially have more of these debuffs rolling than previously possible.

The current situation is untenable.

Per solution 1) The undefendable change adds group value for both Engi. and Magi. The ability can still be cleansed, thus on the defense side of things, this also encourages group play.

Per solution 2) it would be an improvement. 20 seconds is just too bloody long.

Any solution with value, by definition, is going to be a buff as the classes benefit. Given the benefit applies to all targeting the same, it is a 'buff' to all participants (until it is cleansed). As both sides of the coin would have the same ability the 'buff' mantra doesn't seem compelling.

What was the status when the game was Live is irrelevant.
