Because transparency, developemnt news and information is key to keep your server population involved in the ongoing process.

People over reacting to those news is the real problem, game evolves, changes overtime, embrace it and keep going if you keep enjoying the game.

We know these notes are not finished but people ARE going to judge the notes we have been given.

How ? u can read right cause huge nerfs to both ID and Retirbution for WB Slayer, the class Des cries about every single day. Come on be serious in u posts

People are over reacting because the changes proposed. Provisional or not. Are for some classes utterly nuts. And we've no explanation. This isn't transparency. This is "we're doing these changes when the ability system comes out in a few months". We need the reasoning behind these balance changes. For example, why is Engineer being nerfed so hard when it's already the worst performing RDPS on order when it suffers from mobility problems? Especially in regards to the grenadier spec losing it's ability to cast grenades on the move. That's just nuts. And as people have said, if these are temporary changes until a more comprehensive class balance patch is prepared for the engineer later, why hasn't that been specifically mentioned? All we know is 1. These are balance changes and they are provisional pending testing and 2. A more comprehensive balance change will be coming after the ability system is fully released.

But why are these changes necessary when they nuke an already weak class into the ground? Why can't the engineer stay as is until they're ready to start working on balancing the engineer properly? And I'd love to know who came up with this idea, because if this is a genuine balance idea. It shows how out of touch they are with how class/meta balance is at the moment. I'm not disparaging their hard work. But the devs/community manager haven't communicated things clearly and have proposed a bunch of "provisional" changes which for some classes are their death knell.

This is what ppl's feeling. Look rvrstats and check damages. Wl is on the top of damage chart and Mara is on bottom. WL doing 60% more damage according to the data. However, Mara will get stat multiplier nerf for all skills but wl will get stat modifier nerf only for one skill.

After this patch, i will delete my account, quit RoR and waiting new server.

there are no nerfs to ID in the notes lol. retribution nerf is not a nerf, because the change was mirrowed on choppa

just read the rest of the mara changes, TB requiring a stance is a nice buff, but Piercing Bite reduced to 25% is painful. WL already was the stronger class, seems a bit odd, unless they intend to do something like make mara pull instant - which would be the type of cool feeling change I think the game needs. DKs have Death Grip in WoW, which feels like an iconic ability.

Nobody will use piercing bite unless mutation requirement is removed. Nothing will be change after patch for order because they don't have proper damage nerf.

I don't think Maras have the right to complain with their press-a-button-to-become-a-tank mutation, aoe knockdown, wounds debuff, core 25% incoming heal debuff, 50% inc heal debuff that heals you, CORE tactic that makes ALL skills bypass 50% armour, reliable pull and a lot of other stuff which WL can only dream of.

Oh, and how about to give Mara a dumb pet that constantly buggs and dies in a few seconds in any fight bigger than 2 vs 2. And when the pet dies, mara will lose 50%+ of their damage.
