Saw multiple people posting no medallions and no renown tick from the defense of this zone, is this new or a bug?

Title says it all, I can not even get the launcher to start at the moment.

getting a constant crash to desktop, no error, but can log back in immediately, any ideas how to fix this?

when i tried to login this morning had a few issues, used the workarounds in this https://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=27103 thread to fix them and in we go: however, while running scenario's i got DC'd and now cannot reconnect getting this error. Error Downloading updater...
