Having guards serves several purposes.

1) It gives the losing team a safe place to regroup and skirmish. This allows the losers to rebuild their morale (both for characters and players). The barriers force losing teams to coordinate and push out together, which usually isn't possible for pugs ...

The barrier/quitter combo is actually very good at achieving the thing they were designed for - punish you for not leaving the spawn room.

But why do you don't want to not leave the spawn room?

Because your team is losing (usually it's stomped).

Because you think your teams are not really ...

After playing for two days and testing the new matchmaking system, I must say that I am very impressed.
The queue time is quite short (I expected it to be much longer).
The games are very balanced.
It is rare for one side to be completely destroyed quickly.
Surrender is very rare.

Thank you for this new patch. You're great at introducing new visual and gameplay changes to the game. Casual players like me have run into the following problem: my bank can't accommodate all the things you're adding to the game. So, I have a favor to ask.
Can you expand players' personal banks ...

Snb - FoF + ET.
FTWK - only in zerg enviroment (should be changed for good party utility, SM WW too)
2h - Immposible to use ET becosue of Crimson and parry tactic.

Anyway ET is a great change.
