Does the Scorpion Embrace item do anything? I can't seem to figure it out and /advice chat seems to be wondering if it's broken too

Was playing earlier today. Went afk for a bit, then when I came back it had disconnected me. I figured that was fine, and tried to relog, now it keeps giving me this error. A quick google search tells me it's the wonky ban system likely giving me false flags, and I have to be manually unbanned. Is ...
