So Flack Jacket/Daemonic Armor is what Prayer of Absolutions and dok equivalent used to be. a small buff thats nice to have but not mandatory, i also assuem it will not stack with kobs aura anymore?

Aslo previousty Flack Jacket would stack with skills like IB Guarded Attack, this is of the table ...

Agree, 2.5 sec cast is horrible.

I kinda like the state engi is atm, it does not reach quite the st dmg magus does, but im running high armorpen build while trying to pay attention remembering to get turret up for armorpen and using range/los wisely and there isnt many classes i absolutely cant win.

it works great as is for rifleman, no need to nerf it. the portions you want to remove from it are some of the best qualities of it like AA haste and weapon skill. there already exists mainsov for grenadier and defsov for tinkerer. it makes sense that warlord would be there for rifleman. bis rifle ...

to be honest i think that punting back and using skills to run/jump of a cliff should also deal fall dmg.
