Better late than never (and I think this thread deserves to be kept alive from OP alone, even though the it obv. turned into a bit of a meme at points as to be expected):
I very much agree broadly with the thoughts expressed in the OP and would like to add some of my own:
Note: I'm by no means the ...

Re: [suggestions] LV GEAR
I am of the complete opposite opinion - I think the powerful sets are way too powerful. It's also very unevenly distributed among the archetypes (mdps got the shaft lol).
Ex. in the situations where you don't need sovspeed (ex. static defences), having one tank which doesn't need the stats (ex. BG ...

Re: Remove Supply Box Hitbox
+1
It's annoying enough when a chase gets randomly screwed by the guy in front of you spawning a box on death, but it's only a matter of time before this'll get abused on a larger scale by holding BO boxes for chokes/defs.

Re: Mara pull is a nice idea but...
Hilarious thread.
Disregarding the bugs (double pulls, pulls going through floors, desync etc.) - pulls are one of the few ways to force engagements in choked terrain which is a good thing in my book, and punishing passive play is something that should be encouraged. It's also one of the few ...

Re: Scenario Matchmaking Rework Megathread
I think weighing it heavily towards matching the comps on both sides is the way to go - all/almost all DPS scenarios, whilst a bit dumb and obv. not representative of any sort of group play is some of the most fun I've had pugging around in discordant even if certain things can become a bit ...

Re: Questions about Guard interaction
Ah, yeah sorry man, reading comprehension 2/10. I read that as cleave effect having some sort of undefendable tag when you were talking about the Chosen skill in particular.
Yeah, might be. I'm trying to figure out what's going on since I feel like more of a drain on healers than my stats indicate ...

Re: Questions about Guard interaction
More anectodes/observations/questions:
1. Paid attention to it in WB play, and standing behind my guard in a ranged skirmish, not taking any direct fire or aoe, I'm taking quite a few dmg ticks and getting occasional "disrupt" messages, with barely any "parry". Is it DoT effects? AoE? How do they ...

Re: Questions about Guard interaction
Hey, and thanks for the extensive replies!
For numbers: In combat with weapon proc (25% on defence, almost always up, you know then one) and full Hate I have a raw/displayed Parry rating of 92% (new patch WS go brr), but that's the perfect world so assume slightly lower.

Questions about Guard interaction
Hello!
So last night, I got into quite a silly encounter that got me questioning how Guard mitigation interacts.
Pictured below: It was me, 2h Blackguard (BG), a Slayer (SL) a Witch Elf (WE, my guard) and a healing Runepriest (RP) in a conga line back to front in that order, with the WE trying to ...
