I also remember with the ability rework and healer patch they wanted to make 3 different builds work. We have 2 now.

What if ...
Get rid of shield. Make middle (melee group healer with low dmg) and right tree 2h (pure dps with low heal, only st), left tree book.
Let the healing abilities in middle tree scale with willpower instead of str.
Give the middle tree healing a dmg part or requirement to hit someone in 5 ...

I´m a bit divided. Adding stuff for the weekly sounds nice. But if u need to take or defend a keep 3 times, casual players (who don´t play every day for hours and hours) get a hard time to finish the weekly.
U suggest for crest pretty much what we had on live. Sov only via cities, Triumphant ...

You are right. I don´t care about a shield or a so called shield priest.
Point is to make this melee healer build playable. I think the approach was to create 3 different playstyles. Book for pure ranged heal, 2h for dmg and middle tree (atm shield) as a mix of both. Right now this last option doesn ...

The questions is what´s meant with gameplay. Yes, the shield priest is nice to play by design. He is considered as melee healer, great.
When we are talking about perfect circumstances without any stagger/root,heal debuff, with guard etc.it may work.

I really hope the devs take all the really good suggestions on board and think about a "Shield re-patch". I enjoyed this build until the second patch so much and i´m not alone. Would be nice to get the shield build back on track.

Man, just stop. It starts getting annoying.
"This is too high dmg, this ... that ..." for every class. The pet still has strange behavior and dies way too fast if u don´t manage it. Pet got nerfed already ...
WL is still strong, yes. But only cause other dps are too weak.

u got slapped by wl 2 many times...ego issues...just a 200 same recycled post after last wl nerf ...stop crying l2p and enjoy the game


I have wl, and these days i play order. Also i dont really remember a wl killed me. Last time i played toughness shammy and only warband can kill me.

The pet got nerfed with the patch and WL in general lost round 15% dmg.Tbf, this was needed, even from the point of a WL player. But aoe is still the way to go. Pet is way too unreliable with his behavior and lost a lot of dmg.
Real question is if u really think WL needs a nerf or u just wanna nerf ...

There are no shield WP out there anymore, maybe a few left.
It was great straight after the first big healer patch and then they changed abilities and stuff, shield priests are effected now by double heal debuff and have no benefit for the group anymore.
