I still remember the announcement before all the patches. "We will make all builds playable for certain playstyles. Warband, small scale, solo. What´s left after the patches is that at least half of the builds are not playable or not enjoyable. Focus is warband / blob play.

By the look at all the nerfs over the last years, this patch included, it seems engi is still OP for the devs.
Nerfs are sold as buffs or better game play or whatever.
Maybe the st spec is slightly better, what i doubt. But aoe build had and has low dmg. U can fluff up your dmg in sieges and forts ...

I´m still waiting for the engi buff. If it stays like this on PTS server, there is not really an improvement. There are so many good suggestions in the feedback. I hope they take it into consideration.

I only tested grenadier + tinkerer tbf as i only play small scale. The dmg is kinda the same as now on live, same low. And u need to use 2 tactics to make it work which u shouldn´t need if they would do the job right. So yes, no improvement for engi. If u wanna play it hard, then sure it´s all ...

You won´t find that many engis in first place ;)
And even then you need to tune up the aoe dmg cause atm it´s more fluff then effective dmg as grenadier or even tinkerer. Rifle has a good st dmg but is way too static with it´s long cast time and not usable on the move.

Also the change of the Stopping Power tactic makes no sense.

It´s true.
Even if WL was maybe too strong in aoe before, there was only a bit finetuning needed, not a big nerf. But WL is still better then Engie after the new patch. I can´t say much for BW.
Fact is that every class gets massive nerfs if they perform better then the opposite side wants it. Slayer ...

I really hope the devs take this into consideration.
I will keep it short here, not much to add.
A big problem is the cast time on turret unless you take the tactic. And even if u play around the turret, it doesn´t have that dmg or bonus then it had before. All explained by Lesti.
