What fixed it for me was following the guide on http://windowsxp.mvps.org/repairwmi.htm
BTW, that was posted before also.
So what I did exactly (on an elevated command line) was:
1) net stop winmgmt
2) net start winmgmt
3) winmgmt /salvagerepository
Hope this helps those in dire need of some WAR!

Having the same problem. Downloaded the game via torrent, downloaded the current login client.
Moved the game folder away from torrent folder. Removed the torrent just in case, have tried to remove the read-only away from the folder using attrib -h -r "F:\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning ...
