I really enjoy healers in scenarios but sadly I very much dislike them in pve. I haven't tried rvr yet though. I don't imagine it'd be much different.

I think it depends on time of day for the most part. At least in the lower levels. Yesterday at night, i was in quite a few scenarios where the matches ended pretty close. They become unkilleble AOE monsters in late game. You can even solo some hard PQ's.
