Return of Reckoning

Is it just me, or is leveling much quicker in RoR than it was live? I don't remember flying up through the levels like I am now. I really like doing PVE (yeah, I'm that guy!) but I am finding that I outgrow areas before I get through most of the quests. Is there some sort of XP boost going on? If so...

Went to spend medallions to get rapier and pistol on my WH, it glitched and made the rapier purchase 3 times instead of 1. I sent a ticket and they basically said "we don't have time to return items". Is there any way I can get those medallions back? I don't need 2 extra rapiers, but I do ...

I just finished downloading and installing the game. It started fine, ran cinematic, and went to startup page just fine. However, I can't go any further since there is no option to make a character. What now? Thanks in advance!

I have Wine installed on my Mac, dowloaded the RoR installer and it started fine, but I keep getting an error box that says my internet connection seems to have dropped, click Retry. Well, the internet connection has not dropped and Retry just gives me the same error box. Help!
