Re: RoR under Linux
Correct, I have an AMD GPU. To add to the story a bit, my issues started happening exactly when a patch for RoR came, but as I stated another runner made it work. Im not at my main computer right now so I cant say what runner or settings I use currently but I think it is what you recommended ...

Re: RoR under Linux
Try switching to windows 7 from winecfg instead of 10.
also i would suggest using older wine. 6.3+ have loads of weird issues right now
edit:
that wine error doesnt tell too much
0xf33b5ea7: movl 0xb4(%eax),%ebx
that i think is related to some memory problems. Do you run out of RAM/VRAM ...

Re: RoR under Linux
That's strange. Have you checked permissions for those addons? like the ugo mask and user:group
The permissions seem to be the same for all addons, 644 for files and 755 for folders. I basically just downloaded them from Idrinth's Tools and unpacked in AddOns folder.
Do you have two ...

Re: RoR under Linux
Someone forgive me for this but what I did once I could not find the answer was:
1) rename data.myp to something else, data.myp.old e.g.
2) delete cache folder
3) run the launcher, on the nut thingy it should show up "repair" along with 32/64 bits version (the language should not appear ...

Re: Unable to login after the server restart
Same here, "Connecting to server..." then server selection window, I select the server and then "Login timed out."
Guessing they don't have the server fully up and running yet.
Edit: Works now.

Re: RoR under Linux
I use Viny which has those addons and I can see them enabled, have you tried deleting the cache folder and/or repairing the game?
I delete the cache folder each time after closing the game. I can try repairing, how do I do this?
Someone forgive me for this but what I did once I could ...

Re: RoR under Linux
Another problem is some addons don't work and aren't detected by the game while other addons work. I use TexturedButtons, TidyChat and WarBoard which work fine but then I've tried Enemy, nRarity and Pure which aren't detected by the game (doesn't show up in addon list in-game).
Any ideas ...
