I think switching defensive to +3 ticks and middle to 2 ticks plus putting up higher kill tick would balance the objectives.

Newbie tip - Just make sure to pick the Extermination quest for Gates of Ekrund as well as the Scenario quest once inside and queue from Ekrund.
