Return of Reckoning

MMORPGs always had Archetypes. In Classic games it was Tanks, Healers, Damage Dealers and Supporters.
Most of those had sub types like melee / range bow or magic / high or low armor / 1 or 2 hand weapon / elemental fire, nature, chaos… and so on.
But the basic formula was mostly this:

Meele duo nothing beats dok + BG, insane damage/heal, perma slow, armordebuff,crit buff, wounds debuff, parry block debuff, inc/out heal debuff, synnergie is just insane with those two. BO is close and in some aspects even better even, like speed und immovable,buffs etc..

Still nothing beats DOK ...

2x tanks may also be hella fun to play.

For example: focused offensive chosen (in slightly modified solo spec) teamed up with FO BG (in something like 11-9-3 spec).

Crossguard, regen aura (and other auras), ranged stagger & ranged slow, BG heals, ST KD, heal debuff, 2x wounds debuff (not sure if ...

Solo roaming/small-scale roaming isn't "niche" at all. It's a crucial part of a healthy RvR scene. Players need something to do during off-hours, and somewhere to go when the lakes are zergy.

Currently, it's being spoiled by the fact that normal players cannot compete AT ALL with regen builds ...

The shared auras CD seems to be in place, no individual 10 sec cd.

Aye, im pretty confident that there would be more than enough level designers, environment artists & hard surface artists who would volunteer to help out with new locations & armors (respectively), just as several character artists to help with models/character skins.

VFX & animations - i reckon ...

Dont get me wrong, im not arguing with devs, they run the show (for free) for us to enjoy.
It is their prerogative to balance the game as they see fit. We, from the community side, may only at times comment on their decisions, something which along the lines would read as "guys, this is probably not ...

Chosen's dps, as something worth to be discussing at all, doesnt belong to organized environment (which is also another factor to consider for someone when that someone feels super ingenious and yells on ...
