Return of Reckoning

I tried to install the game, clicked on the download link. Brought to a website where the RoR logo creates itself over and over again, but otherwise nothing happens. If I click on anything I am just returned to the main screen. I have the RoRLauncher and when I start that the 'connect' option is ...

There seems to be no evidence of A) the mark you're supposed to have, nor B) where to use it anywhere that I can see in the areas I'm supposed to look.

I've asked in game and no one seems to know.

Is this quest bugged, or am I missing something?

I am new to this game and I've giving some thought to playing a DoK. It's not in stone yet though, but I'd still like to ask a few things.

1) I'm getting the fact that DoK is a melee healer, whereas as least from Dest pov Zealot and Shaman are ranged. Sound about right?
