I think they easiest way to fix this is to make it possible to spend your rr points to disrupt,parry,doge strikethrough. You can stack defensice stats like crazy with renown points. Same happend to us we tried to change it and the gold is gone but the emblem didnt change.
That was at guild rank 16 or something.
