Unfortunately, I don't know what fixed the problem. I know one night it wasn't working and the next morning, my roommate was going to try to help me with it, so I went to show him the error. Lo and behold, it connected for me.

Not sure what exactly changed, but I was able to login today after I got home from work on my desktop, but now my laptop can't authenticate :-S

So, I'm able to login on my laptop no problem, but my desktop simply refuses to authenticate. I've followed all of the steps for fixing the fail to authenticate error but cannot get even to character selection on my desktop only.
