They used to be a lot shorter, but then Mythic decided to standardize all CC in 1.4.7. So in addition to the farcically long Mara/WL root we got WE/WH/Slayer/other mdps knockdowns going from 2 to 3 seconds, and the WH/WE self punt stagger increased to 6 seconds. Yeah, it's annoying when you get slapped with a quitter debuff that you couldn't avoid, but it's more annoying playing in scenarios while outnumbered by 3-6 people. It's not a perfect solution, but it's definitely the lesser of two evils.

Great job with the quitter debuff. My scenario experience has been a lot better and I've only had one or two scenarios with a severe population imbalance since the patch.

The snare can be cleansed by healers and individuals using the RR skill. Once you get use to it, it's rather easy to mitigate. Easy for groups with a WP or DOK, but if you don't have group cleanse you're wasting a lot GCDs . Also, it seems to be applied rather inconsistently, assuming it's the keep...
