I used to play WAR back in the day years before the servers shut down when I was very young. I loved the game then and was so proud of my level 20 Dwarf Engi which was my highest level character.

I play from East coast Australia and don't really see the need for a proxy. Sure there is a bit of latency, but it's not that big of an issue or deal in my opinion.

You can go to those starting areas. Unfortunately by default everyone starts in the Chaos & Empire areas. To get to the other areas, you have to make your way to either the Order or Destruction T1 Warcamp and talk to the flight master to take you to the area you like.

Edit: I should also note that although it says on this website that Order is under represented, when i installed this morning it said destruction needed players. So that's what i'm trying to clarify.
