You can manually change the current resolution within the config file that's in the game directory.

Go to the following location within the game folder: Warhammer Online - Return of Reckoning\user

I have a direct download for the game, but it's the English version. However there is a simple solution to change it to French.

The only way you'll be able to revert this is by editing the userSettings xml file.

Go into your WAR folder > User > right click on "UserSettings.xml" and edit with notepad (or notepad++ if you have that installed).

I also lost the name of a character that I've frequently logged on, so the "1 year inactivity" can't be the reason.
