Re: Difference between Slayer and Choppa
Slayer is currently the worst class in the game.
It does not fill any particular role better than another class. Especially focusing on the AoE spec. ST Slayer isn't worth mentioning bc from a ST dmg perspective it also isn't the best at anything compared to other physical or magic dmg dealers ...

Re: RDPS patch inc
Couldn't it be possible that this is ALSO a solo game? Can't it be a zerg game and a warband game and a 12 man game and a duo roam game and a solo game and a dungeon group game and even a solo pve world exploring game all at the same time?
Well, absolutely, of course. However, you can't ...

Re: Nerf WH/WE into the ground
That's what I've been saying throughout this and other WE threads.
It's not just stealth classes that need adjusting; rDPS healers are also overpowered on a 1v1 / small-scale basis.
You're absolutely right. Honestly, when I play my RR86 DPS Shaman, I genuinely feel like I'm cheating. It's even ...

Re: Nerf WH/WE into the ground
After reading all 25 pages, I'd say the feedback is pretty unanimous: bringing stealth classes back into focus should be a top priority.
I'd also add that taking a serious look at the Rune Priest, Shaman, Archmage, and Zealot feels just as important.
I've always struggled to understand why the ...

Re: Expectations or hot topics for the RDPS patch
For my part, I don't expect much anymore, because hoping is the best way to end up disappointed, and unfortunately that's especially true on RoR.
That said, if multifunction ranged DPS classes like the Zealot or Rune Priest, which are clearly overpowered, can be brought back into a more coherent ...

Re: Are the Devs Ever Going to Fix Slayer?
You are absolutely right. From my point of view, someone on the development team must deeply dislike this class, because how else can you explain it being left in such a state for so long? I played it for years, but these days there's no way I'm taking part in this farce anymore. It's long past time ...

Re: Nerf WH/WE into the ground
The armor / toughness / regeneration WE build clearly needs a nerf. It's been completely ridiculous for far too long. The developers should finally open their eyes to this bad joke.

Re: Nerf WH/WE into the ground
If there are so many threads about it, maybe there really is a problem.
I play a WE (I can't speak for the WH), and I can honestly say that with a defensive regeneration build, I can practically roll my face across the keyboard and still beat quite a few classes. When I look at classes that are ...

Re: 2026 Developer Roadmap
I'm almost tempted to be optimistic.
On paper, these announcements seem to be moving in the right direction. However, past experiences with various class changes (what did you do to that poor Slayer.🤮..?), the weapon rework, and so many other issues over the years encourage a more cautious approach ...

Re: BW: Current state
BW may not be what it was but at least it isn’t slayer.
These devs believe strongly in addition through subtraction. Anything that makes a class fun or unique is getting nerfed.
After the MDPS “rework” I am in no hurry to see what else is in store.
I agree. Today, we’re hoping for the best ...
