Re: Character 3D model capture for 3D printing?

I've now mostly moved on to printing different things, but today I was able to finish one particular print from the Warhammer files, that I'm quite proud of 8-) Behold, the frozen Khorne Bloodthirster that can be found in the northern Chaos Wastes. I've printed the wings separately and then attached...

Re: Character 3D model capture for 3D printing?

I finally have some finished prints! Now, I only had a green PLA so this was more like a test of the print quality, before I buy some white filament and make the actual large prints (I'd really like to do the elven manor, as large as possible). I also found a very nice model of a squig, so I decided...

Re: Character 3D model capture for 3D printing?

To be honest, I didn't manage to convert the .geom files to any usable format, so I gave up after that for now. I'd also expect these three issues with them: 1. From what I could find, there is no easy way to adjust the position of the character models, so they'd be most likely stuck in the default ...

Re: Character 3D model capture for 3D printing?

I'll share the finished models as soon as I can, but it'll take a couple of weeks. Also, I'm afraid that I won't even try the character models due to the difficulty in adjusting them. There are however some statues of the playable classes that should be printable (I suppose those are the statues in ...

Re: Character 3D model capture for 3D printing?

So in the end I've downloaded EasyMYP and extracted some models (just buildings and statues in the nif format for now, as they seem to be easier to adjust and print). All models I've extracted however need some significant adjustments before they can be printed (by default there are missing layers, ...

Re: Character 3D model capture for 3D printing?

Hi, sorry for reviving old threads, but I'd also really love to get my hands on some nice 3D models for printing, however I have no experience in ripping and adjusting the models directly from the game files. Does anyone perhaps have some STL files either from Warhammer Online or Warhammer Total War...

Re: Bomb Groups

Bomb groups were used for the first time just a few weeks after the GTAoE stacking nerf (Rain of Fire/Pit of Shades)...I still remember how the BWs in my guild came up with the idea - they saw it on some video from russian server - and our guild was one of the first ones to use this tactics on our s...

Re: SW 2h viable in later tiers?

As a rr80 SM player on official server (quit just after the skaven expansion was introduced), I was almost always running 2h in our warband. The SnB doesn't give you any advantage in buffs (except for hold the line) and with 2h, your dps is a lot better and the survivability in RVR is basically the ...
