Why not have the best of both worlds, a place in T2-3 for pre-40 players to play on a more even ground but also ...

Sov 8pc bonus is great (10sec crit immunity for the whole party), but I tend to lean more towards 6pc sov+3pc tri. I play mostly smallscale and I get focused a lot there, so my gear is obviously targeted at that environment. Lot's of wounds helps you recover from kd+burst damage.
