Update: Seems to be working now

Yesterday I was lucky enough to get a Broken band of doomsday drop while hunting in the RVR lakes. I took it to an npc and selected the repair function which prompted me it will cost 50 silver but when clicking yes nothing happens.

I have since tried "repair all" and messing with the dye function ...
