Sheesh. I go away to test some other games for a week or so and all hell breaks loose. Fine, I'll play on the server more.

What people are saying is that no one is stopping you from making friends on this game. You can exchange personal information outside the game such as over Vent or TeamSpeak. They want you to refrain from giving out personal information on chat in the game.
