Return of Reckoning

I had this issue while trying to use my original installation directory of WAR (which was on the correct patch level).
If you downloaded the game from here you may have missing or corrupted files.

Same issue which is now fixed for me; launcher works fine, game closes on loading screen without any message.
The cause was that I tried to use my original installation directory of WAR from 2009 (yes, I like to keep relics from the past :)
I had this silent crash even though it was updated to 1.4 ...
