I recently came back to this game and am absolutely amazed by the work/dedication from the team. err from my understanding on the roadmap- this is exactly what they are working on. Bringing back the PQ's and the actual LoD.

ugh...ya the flicker sux had to turn off the option but it sure was pretty.
