Happy to report that after complete re-download and launcher update my wife has informed me the game appears to be working. I will not get to see for myself for another eight hours, but I have that to look forward to this evening.

I am having the grayed out connect button issue as well. Tried the flashing cursor on password line and hitting enter. I get black screen for about thirty seconds and returns me to launcher with an error has occurred pop-up.
