The 3 tactics you mentioned are not mandatory in any style of play.

All classes are forced in to 2 tactics at least from the get go.
Other 2 are situational.
And thats for ALL classes.

In wb you dont really need opressing blows, but you do need rugged and maybe the -10 ctbc.
