Would it not be possible to get an update from Az?

Is a fix being attempted soon or should I temper my expectations? This is just a bit frustrating; I don't mean to sound impatient.

Refer to one of the thousand other threads about this. You're not the only one, I assure you.

No. All lowercase, normal letters. I don't think that is the cause.

Server could lose out on a lot of new potential players, if this keeps up.

Our best bet is probably a server restart. Who knows when that might happen, though. :<

I think we've pretty well established that no new accounts are able to log in.

All we can do is wait, I suppose.
