Scheduled cities and war crest changes have not had a positive influence on the game and in my opinion should be reverted.
It made the RvR campaign and the reward system hollow.

Re: [Suggestion] Guild banner trophies
I'm for any gameplay additions that create more strategic depth, and also increase things like guild/realm identity. So, yes! A few thoughts; I think the tooltip of the banner might say it applies to a maximum of 24 or 32 players (don't exactly remember) but I think in actuality it applies to all pl...

SM "Crushing Advance" Proposal
Hello, What follows is a straightforward proposal to slightly tweak the SM's 9pt ability from the Path of Vaul. Crushing Advance hits in a 15ft AoE, however its cast range is only 5ft and it cannot be used without an active target. Currently, this means it is quite awkward to use. My proposal is to ...

Re: DoK and Dual Wield
A little more specifically, Dual Wield is a primary DPS spec, and while the ST healing output is not trivial, it's not enough to keep targets up under sustained pressure the way a main healer can. Chalice is main healer spec focused on AoE healing. Probably the best class at keeping alive their grou...

Re: build help - sorc sov off gear
7p off sov isn't fantastic for solo, in my opinion. I would go with a mix to beef up your stats. The issue is that it only procs on direct damage, which doesn't include a lot of your core single target abilities. It's a bit too unreliable for solo and as far as I know it cannot proc more than once e...

Re: The way to get rid of both X-realming AND Faction Imbalance in RvR
how game code will know it was tactical surprise? This is of course a good question with no easy answers. But if people were to agree that indeed this lack of tactical impact is an issue, it is worth debating what possible solutions there are. One way to change it might be through changing certain ...

Re: The way to get rid of both X-realming AND Faction Imbalance in RvR
The issue is that there are too few tools the outnumbered side can use to even the odds. This is what the game needs and has needed for quite a while. The primary problem I'd describe as follows: The outnumbered side cannot kill enemies fast enough, and through fast rezzing ensures that in most situ...

Re: How are Armor marks awarded in ORVR?
Depending on how you plan to gear yourself, keep in mind that to wear a set you need a corresponding Ward, which are granted by completing set tiers. To complete a Ward you can usually choose between several sets: Annihilator, Ruin and Mercenary are part of the Officer Ward After that comes the Conq...

Re: A Lesson From Guild Wars 2
A while back I made a post about mounts in RoR. In my view, since mounted combat is not a part of RoR it is strange that players ride into battle on mounts (giving them a massive tactical advantage) and then flying drop kick into the backs of their enemies. Another aspect is RoR's small vision range...
