Ideal level to enter PvP areas
Hey everyone, I am coming back to RoR after about two years. I usually don't bother with PvP in MMO's as it isn't my thing but I see some cool quests in PvP areas. What is a good level I should strive to be before going into those areas as to not be immediately murdered?

Re: Ideal level to enter PvP areas
Well 95% of this game is pvp, so the best level to start is right away at level 1. If you want to dodge fights and only do pve you can visit locked zones where no fights are happening atm.

A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

First thing I do with a new char is queue for sc on rank 1. PvP is the fastest way to rank up and leave t1 as soon as possible.

Re: Ideal level to enter PvP areas
You have to PvP in this game. 1/2 of your career advancement is tied up in “renown abilities.” Things like + parry,dodge/disrupt, -chance to be crit that are crucial to PvE are connected to your renown rank.
Likewise, renown ranks get you additional specialization points every 10 renown levels.
Due to the fact that at 40 you are thrown in with the wolves and lose bolster, you want every renown point that you can get between levels 1 and 39.
While there are better PvE gear options that ever now, you will still need renown abilities to be viable on most classes.

Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/80) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.
