Hey how are you doing.
I'm currently downloading the client. Somewhat of a sleeper WH fan and knowing the lore etc but the game just went under my radar somehow.
My previous Mmo was Rift.
I've heard that the classes are quite unique and don't particularly follow the classic fantasy/ DnD tropes. Maybe someone could be so kind and help me figure what to expect from each class? Maybe there is a video showing game play of them all or just a one sentence rundown on what the identity is and what the main spells do.
I'm open to all of them right now.
Thanks, looking forward to meeting you all

Hey, I have a YouTube that features quite a broad amount of difference classes in both Shorts and Long Format videos, there are a lot of other videos from other creators too, but some of which are quite old but remain mostly relevant. My YT's in my sig, otherwise just look around.
You can also check the RoR Guide in my sig which has every Order class but Slayer thus far if you are into reading.
Stay safe, exile.

Hey thank you for your response! Sig in Discord also gave me a comprehensive list of sources by now.Uchoo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 12:59 am Hey, I have a YouTube that features quite a broad amount of difference classes in both Shorts and Long Format videos, there are a lot of other videos from other creators too, but some of which are quite old but remain mostly relevant. /edit: Man that's detailed and just what i was hoping for cheers for the effort <3
I'm running white lion lvl 18 atm and noticed a couple things:
- The pdf says that Hack is bad but it's the best default st damage for me. Sundering Chop does so much less damage (ca 85% of Hack) that the 15% armor pen can't make up for it.
- Coordinated Strike. When i am attacking something else than the pet but we are nearby, Coordinated Strike fully works with the dmg procs happening on each respective target. So it does not need to be on the same target. (If i observed it right)
- Lion's Fury has pretty much the same tool tip damage as Hack for me. not 199 vs 246, making it even deal less damage on some targets.
- It says that the 5% crit pet buff does low damage but the armor shred makes the ttk much faster, heavily increasing all our damage to the target. In RvR being jumped by 2-3 people, i could still get one kill with it, but not the ''tame to kill'' buff.
- I've also noticed that tame to hunt is pretty bad for questing due to the pet's aoes constantly pulling **** and aoe being a loss 95% of the time.
Also, questing seems a little weird. I could kill 10 dark elf mobs (1k-750 exp)in Shadowlands way faster than it would take to complete a 5k quest plus the back& forth traveling for that.
But i love the write down there is so much info, thanks again!

Rift was really a fun game to play in its time.

Hey, sorry for the lack of response. My White Lion guide is geared for use at level 40 so there will be damage differences based on Mastery Points, Damage Bonus, etc. I could see Hack being decent while leveling before people have any significant armor. There may be some oddities with Bolster that I don't know about, who knows.
Lion's Fury deals Spirit Damage so its damage can be deceptive as it doesn't interact with armor.
The pet armor debuff from Trained to Threaten does not stack with Force Opportunity, which is a bigger armor debuff.
