What antivirus does ppl prefer?

I know this might be like opening a can of worms, but since I'm having trouble with Avast not allowing ROR, I want to hear you guys, what kind of (free) anti virus is a good alternative?

It need to be something relatively simple, as I'm defenetly no tech guru.

I've got AVG (Bussines Edition, but Free should behave similarly) since my IT department installed it onto my laptop ... and RoR seems to be working just fine.

Ive used malwarebytes for years now scan weekly and never had any problems.

I dont go on animal porn sites or click get rich quick ads though so maybe you want a active scanner if you do.

ad block + avg + router firewall and should have no problem unless you install something directly on your pc, also avg generally give no problem to videogame

Malwarebytes, even just the free version should be enough for most people.

In my opinion you do not need any. I use uBlock(much better than adblock), ghostery and i have windows defeder which it comes along windows too.
If you know what you download to your pc and on what links you click then you do not have to worry about any virus.
However, if sometimes i am worried i got effected by some i just download the Kaspersky trial version run a full scan and then just unistall it again.
