Dwarfs! This Tuesday 19.04.2016 the Dwarf Gunline Event returns. Open to all Dwarven careers, and any rank. The event will start at T3 Empire Warcamp 8 pm. CET. 5 lvl 35 pots for every attendand. We wont fight thirsty! See the Forum for more info.

Location:
Empire Warcamp High Pass. Contact Drengk or Lesti.
Open for:
Any dwarven career Bring your Runesmith, Slayer or Ironbreaker.
No Guild restriction.
Level 1-35, but we recommend a Level of 11 at least. We have spare Gear if you just have levelled up, but lack the appropriate Gear.
Dresscode:
Ironbreakers, Slayers, Runepriest can come as they are.
Engineers please set their helmet on "hidden". So the helmet counts, but is not seen. Headgear is for officers and sergeants and Corporals.
Pistols are for officers only.
No Capes. Capes please set to "hidden".
Optional Color for the Engineers:
If you want you can change your Color.
Body T1 and T2 Armour Main color = Necron Abyss , second color = graveyard earth.
Decimator Gear Main colour = Necron Abyss , second colour = Necron Abyss.
Belt, Boots, Gloves, Shoulders, Helmet, Cape is Main and Second color = graveyard earth.

Optional Colour for other dwarven characters would be Necron Abyss as the Main Colour.
Marching:
Please assign your "Toogle Walk" Button in your Keyboard settings in the Menue. With that you can switch to walking speed which will be needed to march properly.
Singing:
Some of you have recognized that Lesti sang a fine marching song on last Event. For the third Event I have prepared another one, named Dwarfs of Ekrund. To take part in the Singing it is best if you simply remember two words, Or build a macro saying:
/say Dwarfs of Ekrund!
Plan is that you sing it at the end of each paragraph.
Also you might want to build two macros with the texts:
/say Aye!

I'm currently planning to host an Engineer Formation fighting Event.
In RoR I'm LESTI the Engineer.
Thats in detail an event where you take your dwarven character and be part of the 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers.
80% of the Unit should be made of dwarven Engineers. Rank 1-12. No required gear or equipment level.
Ironbreaker and Slayers in Front Ranks.
Runepriests as Support in the second or third Line.
It will be slight Roleplaying, but if you are not into roleplay it would be good if you not disturb the others. But this is no Tavern hugging backstory talking. This is WAR!
For the first 20 Minutes we will train marching and Formation Fighting. One ore double File Formation marching and shooting. No wild running or jumping around. This is Warhammer Fantasy Battle style in Warhammer Online.
It is a military structure so you will take orders and be part of a regiment. But I will not ask anything strange from you. Only to stay in the formation and Follow the attack Priorities. And of course kill Greenskin scum.
After 20 Minutes of Training we will go into RvR or PQs (should they work). Back in the day with 10 Engineers we could almost complete any PQ in no time. Most of the Time there was the Order "No Turrets!" so that the destros had at least some chance.
If Fortresses are up, than we will do that if the gathered levels are high enough for that.
The main focus is in reliving the "226 Scharfschützenregiment" from 2011. A german Dwarven Roleplaying Guild which I was a part of. Guild leader was Dwarkaar Thar who later moved with the Guild to another MMO.
At the moment there is not a special Guild planned for this. so this event is completely Guild free and any dwarf pc may join. Depends on the Feedback from you it is an possibility later to found a guild.
A steadfast Engineer formation was capable of holding a much bigger Destro Force in Nordland at bay and push them to their warcamp. Focused fire is the key. And most of the time I wasn't looking on the Destros but my actions.
Every three seconds I hit the Macro Button for assisting the Leader and shooting at the target he designated. Or when the Order came.
Although I know that Assist doesn't work at the moment I have already made my Macro for it and will link an howto.

Estimated 2-3 hour playtime.
Main Language is english, but there will be not that much talking. Back in the days these were also little Roleplay Events, but I want to focus more on RvR and Formation fighting.
