Hey Guys,
Just downloaded and am having issues connecting.
Here is my error code:

Error starting: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'E:\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\WAR.exe' is denied.

You need to remove read only on the game folder.

I have a problem starting the game. I put the launcher in the folder along with "war" client. Put it still says : Patch error!

..blabla.. Total errors encountered Ensure the game is not runnig (is not) & there is free space (is)



Ok thanks! Found the right launcher now!

You use the Return of Reckoning launcher. Any previous launchers from the game won't work.

I cant connect to the Server.
I can start the launcher but the web server is red and the login server is yellow. i tried the solution from the common issue post twice but nothing changed.

That would indicate that you can't establish a connection with the login server. It's possible some application on your computer is preventing it from connecting, either antivirus or another process running, possibly also the firewall blocking it.

Check them first and see if that works.

Hello,

Got some weird error which I was unable to find any relation to on this forum.
Following the instruction point by point:
- Game client downloaded (by torrent)- done.
- DirectX up-to-date- I have even downloaded the one which is stated in the unstruction p.6
- Launcher downloaded and copied to the game folder- done.
- Opened the Launcher and logged in with the same credentials as on the forum (no "strange" characters, no special letter etc)- done.
*web and login servers are both "green"
- game "opens" but after few secs i got :
Critical Error
Authentication failed -- application will now terminate.

Only option is to choose "Ok" which close the game.
Any idea of why this error appears? Is there another autentication performed after I have already typed the credentials in the Launcher window?

- already checked the malware
- already checked connectivity
- already checked whatever viruses, trojans, registry etc etc

Still- no changes...

What is everyone using to torrent? I have utorrent but it can't find any peers.

Hello again,

Tried to replace the .myp - the same.

Also- tried to "rebuild performance counters" (admin cmd -> lodctr /r)- no changes.

I am able to loin in Launcher, game opens but after few secs I got the same "critical error: authentication failed".


Any other ideas/ advises?
