Annoying combat sound loop
Starting area in Norsca with a Chosen. Fist time I attack something the attack sound effect just loops constantly - no other sounds play. Game seems to play normally other than that, using abilities to try and 'overwrite' the sound doesn't help. Any clues?

Re: Annoying combat sound loop
You probably still need some files/updates. Close your game and your launcher.
Andalusian.
Re: Annoying combat sound loop
But it was working ok yesterday evening for an hour or so. Tried that anyway, no change.
Re: Annoying combat sound loop
Ok, after several launcher shutdowns and resarts, it's now downloading 16,244 files after a verification check. Possibly sound files got corrupted.

Re: Annoying combat sound loop
Same problem after the launcher downloaded a load of stuff, this time NPC's fighting sound looped over everything - sounded like a guy shouting 'Chillax!' over and over.
Any link to this audi.myp file anywhere?

Re: Annoying combat sound loop
After more experimentation, background music is also screwy (I usually have it disabled). Re-enabling it just produces scratchy noises, I assume a file or two are corrupt.

Re: Annoying combat sound loop
That works, thanks. The file size was bigger, I remember the game did kick me without ceremony nor error message - possibly messed up the file?
All fine for now though.

Re: Annoying combat sound loop
Same here. After 6 hours of restarts/patching/replacing the audio file the problem's still there.
