Another error, i didnt find solution for

Post#1 » Sat Apr 18, 2015 2:31 pm

Sup guys, first of one i want to thank you for your work, its really cool. So, here is my problem - after login there is pop window with an error -

Data.myp:
System.Management.ManagementException: Not found
в System.Management.ManagementException.ThrowWithExtendedInfo(ManagementStatus errorCode)
в System.Management.ManagementScope.InitializeGuts(Object o)
в System.Management.ManagementScope.Initialize()
в System.Management.ManagementObjectSearcher.Initialize()
в System.Management.ManagementObjectSearcher.Get()
в MYPHandler.MYPHandler..ctor(String filename, del_FileTableEventHandler eventHandler_FileTable, del_FileEventHandler eventHandler_Extraction, HashDictionary hashDic)
в RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()

i unchecked "read only", but it still appears after any time i checked folder's properties. Anyway, after login there is just 4 buttons - cinematic, credits, options and exit. No connect for server and i cannot create a character.
Could you please help me?

Martin Rasmusson wrote:I have also run into this issue. Here is one of the previously mentioned online resources explaining how one can fix WMI: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/repairwmi.htm

The method of repairing seems to be different between different versions of Windows as explained on that page.

I had this problem on none of these versions, but on Windows Embedded Standard 2009. Since Windows XP Service Pack 2 is closest related to the listed OSes, that is the one I used:

Code: Select all

For Windows XP Service Pack 2

Click Start, Run and type the following command:

rundll32 wbemupgd, UpgradeRepository

This command is used to detect and repair a corrupted WMI Repository. The results are stored in the setup.log (%windir%\system32\wbem\logs\setup.log) file.
Seems to be related to this, if not the same exact problem.

Depending on where you saved your files, Windows sometimes will not allow to fully edit any files without complete Netadmin privileges...

But regarding its something to do with the Data.myp i recall Elven saying that the downloaded file sometimes has an error.

Ha found it: http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... oad#p34120

try download https://mega.co.nz/#!4lISBArD!Fqav09Imv ... 0CEQusbVmU and replace it. maybe it works
