Game fails to complete update as of Jan 16th

Per the title, the game does not complete the update. It gets to 14 of 16 changes and then cancels. What should I do?

Below is what I found in the game files under Launcher:

I am running 4.0.5.26 and get similar errors:

ok its different ... try doing the folder permissions again
read+write and apply to all files and folders
doublecheck your antivirus/firewall settings
run repair from launcher (from the gog wheel)

Same issue for me.Plus when i try download the launcher from the link above or from main instalation guide i get a message that core files missing

Edit:My client with retry count 5 works now

No difference, still same error. Did a full re-install as well.

If you're playing from Russia, try logging in through a VPN. That was the only thing that worked for me.

Tried all the other suggestions but nothing worked. Connected via VPN to Paris and it finally finished the download without the error.
