Launcher [update] download issues

Hi!

I'm trying to solve launcher issues related to the download problems mentioned in this thread: viewtopic.php?t=60116

I've tried to narrow down the problem and have already ruled out issues with the OS (tried a fresh Ubuntu installation and a fresh Windows 10 install) and certificate problems.
My current hypothesis is that there is a routing issue between my ISP and the global DNS infrastructure.

To discuss this with my ISP's support team, I need to know the RoR update server IPs and the full request path to the resources the launcher is trying to load (e.g., '....?///builds/94/world').

Asking the devs: please provide any technical details you can.

PS. Using a variety of VPNs including $ ones helps not.
